And although this instinct is mostly irrelevant these days, it can still have a crippling effect on you. So let's break it down for a moment, that passage of time you spend thinking about it as you see all those beautiful women in your life. If you're a beautiful woman, and you see a man who is plucking up the courage to come and talk to you, how would you like him to act and what would you prefer him to say when he finally does come over? It's difficult to know isn't it? These women often make very jealous girlfriends! But that's kinda half the fun ;) So...make sure everyone likes you. Be the connector. Be the guy that everyone comes to for their social circles, be the guy who builds vast social circles so everybody knows who he is, wherever he is.
Suddenly the approach woman enigma becomes a lot less tricky, and man is able to approach woman naturally, like he did in the good old tribal days. Did they know about social proof and pre-selection? I doubt it. But they had what a lot of people seem to lack these days. A desire to follow their instinct.
