Tom Cruise’s character in Magnolia taught his students to Respect the C%^k, but for me the key necessity of natural game is the accrual of respect for the moment. The technological slant of pick-up has long sought to write a script, or program which would provide a response to everything a girl could possibly say or do. Students coming into the game from months of internet-based study find the scripts they have improvised are no match for the sheer diversity of situations arising in the natural world. Promises of the silver bullet, the pick-up artist who can get any girl remain elusively distant.
For me, natural game is being able to respond truthfully moment by moment to the situation which is actually in front of me. In particular, I need to respond to where the girl is at, and not where she is pretending to be, nor where I would like her to be. If I can respond truthfully to where she is at, without any agenda, nor attempt to control the situation, then there is nothing she can do which is bad for the pick-up. So many of the techniques of pick-up seek to avoid bad things happening, and in doing so have the consequence of avoiding anything good ever happening.
A nightclub, or any place where pick-up typically occurs, has its own protocol or game which most of the participants subscribe to; events occuring outside this protocol fall into the category of the weird and the wonderful. Pick-up for me is a two-way thing, where I pick up the girl, but at the same time ensure that my pick-up does not at all get in the way of her picking me up. Without this reciprocality, there would not be any romance or magic to meeting girls.
nice, good motivational thing, i don´t think is one of your best posts, but still good, but i completely agree about how is better the natural game than the canned one, cause is hard to have a line and a routine for every single situation that happens out there, is better to be on the right mood, with confidence and just be ready and creative to interact.
