Useful info, many thanks to the writer. It is puzzling to me now, but in general, the usefulness and importance is overwhelming. Very much thanks again and good luck!

I got all the other things right I got a good body and good clothes, all except the hair lol. But people love my big red mohawk; I get approached a lot by girls telling me how they love it and running their hands over it ;) so what's wrong with that? But then again I'm only 18 so maybe I can get away with it easier...And I love the 'peacocking is sometimes a great weapon but in general you are more likely to end up looking like a peahead or just a cock' haha quality.

I totally agree with this post.. the workout thing kind of gets me though!
I'm skinny.. but i'm in great shape, totally toned up.. i do cardio excercise about 3-4 times a week, even got a bit of a 6 pack.. does anyone think i should concentrate more on weights and bulking up?

I know theres already been an influx of comments about working out but here's one more for the hell of it.

This summer I climbed Kilimanjaro, and although you don't need to be muscular to climb it (just fit) I decided to bulk up. I went to the gym 4 times a week for an hour and a half at a time and drank protein shakes one hour before and immediately after. It worked and I was in the best physical shape of my life by the time I did the climb.

I would also add that theres no need to blow money on all those crazy supplements or herbal remedies that promise fast muscle growth. It's all about having effective work-outs and allowing muscles 48 hours to recover. The protein shakes helped my calorie count and obviously muscle repair.

One more quick thing about clothes; always shop around. I recently discovered that a well-known female clothes store now have a men's clothing range. I went and checked it out and found some really good stuff. Don't rely on the same shops as most guys, look on-line and in shops for clothes and ideas. Online shops always have pictures of models in various outfits the merchant sells, so check them out for ideas.

That´s so true PhillipC, but also that´s true for skinny guys, we guys that tend more to keep fat, need cardio excercise too, and if you do it really concious, eat right, and keep in line and doing everything, you could get a good body in 16 weeks or so, i know it i had done it, i try this program just for 8 weeks, so, just half of it to see if it worked, then i put on weight again, why? i just wanted to see if my game was equaly efective with a little belly, later i would start building muscle and improve my game even more but with the knowledge that my game was good by itself, now im about to start this program again, i put the blogspot were i kept the track of my progress here, there are pics of me from week one to 8, since i don´t know if it is aginst the forum rules, i don´t put the link to this program guide, if you would like me to post it, please one of the instructors tell me if is permited, anyway, yeah, building your body is important, but is more important to build up your game, im working on both ;)

Take care!!!

Obviously, its an instinct for girls to be attracted to guys that work out with bulging biceps etc. But for guys to
pump up is much easier said than done.
I spent months working hard at the gym, noticed virtually no improvements, became frustrated and gave up. Then I met a bodybuilder that won competitions and stuff, he was that good. He said that before he started training people made fun of him for how skinny he was. I just assumed he was lying, or something, but then when he explained his strategy everything made sense. I just wish someone had told me this years ago.

Basically, he explained that 75% of the training is what you eat and only 25% is using weight resistance. Counter
intuitive I know, but if you think about it makes sense. To get like hulk, you have to eat like hulk. You only need to go to the gym three times a week to break down muscle tissue, but its overloading your body with protein
and resting that repairs the tissue and allows it to grow. So hitting the gym hard everyday, using the same muscles
is the worst thing you can do, since they never get the rest they need for growth and repair.

So a healthy diet would consist of three large meals a day and seven protein snacks eg. can of tuna, nuts etc. Your meals should have lots of carbohydrates, since these preserve your energy for a long time and vitamins, which are vital for maintaining bodily functions and natural feel good factors. Remember, you are what you eat, so keep it healthy, avoiding sugar at all costs. This will quickly use up your body energy resources leaving you tired and exhausted.

Hey Ollie, I did the bootcamp on May 31 / June 1. Your advice in just 10-15 minutes completely blew away all the fashion and style sense I thought I had.. and replaced it with stuff so much cooler, noticeable and ATTRACTIVE to women.

One of my biggest regrets is not doing a 1-on-1 with you when I was in London, but I've hit the gym HARD since we met, put on 7kg of muscle, feel good about having stubble when I go out (even though one girl I hooked up with for 3 days straight asked me to shave it haha), wear skinny leg jeans and cool patterned t-shirts with nice jackets. My look gets commented on when I go out and makes me FEEL a lot smoother. Thanks so much for the advice Ollie - I look forward to that 1-on-1 with you in the future!!

man, great update and rebuttle to the whole mystery peackocking/raver/trekky/i build starfleet command centers on the weekend look thats been hittin the town as of late. and i agree with the extension of love plus. the juxtapositon of the scruff/fresh and clean look oozes just enough rock star.

but to the reason that i posted. i totally agree that being in shape is key, but there is a much easier (and less meatheaded) approach then spending the equivelent of an afterschool job in the gym everyweek.

what it is? H.I.T. training. Tim Ferris of the fourhour work week (a model man for us all)explains it all here:

http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/04/29/from-geek-to-freak-how-i-gained-34-lbs-of-muscle-in-4-weeks/

basically its a system based on an extremely quick and extreeeemely intense workout with a simple diet that equals big gains and huge fat burns in a short period of time. it sums up like this:
diet-
6 days/wk: veggies, beans and meat
1 day/w: anything you want

lift: 2 45 min workouts a week

im only pushin this workout cause it did it for me. i use to be a college athlete but got tired of all the gym time after college and found this and im in the best shape of my life with the least time commitment ever.
ive got it down to about an hour and a half of lifting a week and the diet down to the science.

read it and let me know what yall think (the rest of his blog's pretty fatty too)
