INSTANT DATE – LIVE VIDEO by Dharam Hey guys,
Made a little video for you last month, hope you enjoy.
Apologies for the sound quality, it was difficult to get this in shot, as you can imagine when you see the girl and me walking the streets, crossing over and my camera man following me. Lol.
Anyways, there are a lot more videos from me... Posted on January 10, 2009 | Read more
Awesome man. Very impressive. I took a lot of how she was behaving during the conversation as very closed off… I probably would’ve panicked and made excuses to leave. Persistance would be the key word here I’m guessing.
I liked the slight neg as well… “Ooh, look at you, like ‘yeah, I’m gonna run the country!’” Very playful and not at all cocky or egotistical, but gets the job done just as well. I’m starting to see what you mean about what you said in the last post about how it doesn’t take compromising your own ‘niceness’ to get good with girls. Would love to see more from you man!
Hey Dharam, Fine work, No, EXCELLENT work. That was a great example of PU! You built LOADS of comfort with the girl, sharing past experiences with her, and you listened to everything she had to say, you were in the moment and not thinking about what to say next!!Fantastic
Very smooth number close, and she text you later that day. GREAT WORK!
Comfort is probably the most important part of day game and I think Gamblers method of day game achieves that. I don’t think this is video that anyone can criticize! It’s a great example!
Really liking your work!
Ps your style and body language in set was superb! Very animated, facial expressions and hand gestures, just as important as the words you were saying!!
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dharam on the Friday night ‘Approach course’. What I like about this approach is that he doesn’t put on an act, doesn’t use routines/gimmicks and, as a comment above says, he doesn’t compromise who he is. Dharam is just as he is in real life as he is in this video.
That should be encouragement to all of us who enter the world of PU and feel like we have to change our core, who we are as people, in order to become natural seducers.
We can remain ourselves but improve, rather than alter, who we are.
nice bro, ill be honest, after watching the first half of this vid i thought it was goin to be a ‘fools gold’ set, where you get convo out of safety. but it looks like you turned her around and opened her up.
Hey Dharam, that’s cool man. You make it seem easy and guess what… it is!! We think that we need all sorts of gambits and routines to impress or ‘dhv’ or that we need to dress weird in order to be called a ‘pua’. Think again… There you have an example of how a normal looking guy approaches a stranger in the middle of the street, starts a conversation (a normal one!) and arranges to meet up with the girl afterwards.
I wouldn’t know what to do when her phone rang though. It would be weird to leave because the close was there, and I guess it was kind of weird to stay as well. There are many people who say that the best way to handle interrupts is by opening another set immediately but you were in the middle of the street.. I don’t think that would be a good idea. They walk in the street, you can’t entertain two sets at once as easily as you would in a club.. I was thinking about that the other day because it happened to me and it’s pretty funny it happened to you too in this video.. Maybe someone of you guys can write a post on how to handle interrupts in the future? Just a suggestion. Good work!!!
Dude, this is exactly how i game…lol… I find vocal tone really helps liven up the conversation and especially vital for making someone open up. I think that’s why she started to get more engaged as she drew in your positive and enthusiastic energy :)
I tend to not use opinion openers much though. My favourite type of openers now are situational and direct. Direct is pretty cool i find ‘cos it means you can start qualifying straight away :)
Great stuff, dude. She wasn’t giving you much to go on, and politics isn’t an easy topic to deal with. You did the right thing by disagreeing with her while remaining open; you’ve got your own beliefs, but you’re not so dogmatic as to get fired up them and argue about them.
This is the first time that I have put an approach up live. It is great to see your comments as always and hope the video helped guys with their day game.
GABRIEL: Hopefully I will post more approaches sometime in future, this was mainly to show how easy Gambler’s day game blue print can be, as that video was gold dust and wanted you guys to see that. Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed it and yes you don’t have to compromise your niceness at any point in the conversation to win the girl.
NOEL: Mate your too kind, and I appreciate the comments. Note that if you take the My ‘Niceguy’ Approach to gaming, comfort is key. You do not have to be some cold, cocky, arrogant guy to pull women, and I hope you can see that clearly.
RICHARD: Please remind me which Richard you are as I meet many on the approach course. Thank you for the comment, I think it is one of the most valid, as you have met me, and I am really the same both on camera and in person.
ETHICAL INDULGENCE: Well this was literally last sat and I filmed it before I went to work on the bootcamp. I got a text from her later, but we haven’t arranged to meet up yet. Will definitely do so soon, as I think the girl is good looking, could have some better looking friends, or when she goes university, she’ll make some better looking friends ;-) I am young and never had the pleasure of going uni so I would like to make up some lost time.
RESET: Mate, I will write my next blog, am slightly camera shy anyways, about ‘Dealing with interruptions’ as it is something I can help you guys with.
ONDER: If this is how you game, then keep it up, your doing well ;-)
ROB: Politics is one of few subjects I stay away from – because 1) It can be a no go area for some women and 2) I just find it boring – But everything I told her were my own views. It was one of few transitioning pivots I had in this PU and i latched on to it.
Nice video dude, you did a good change of her frame, she was actually kinda closed but then she got friendly, i think some of this was because of your body language which i like, not stiff, kinda loose, natural, the only thing i would change a little of this set is that i think you could have been used a little more kino than just giving her a hand shake, however maybe it´s because how you calibrated her, and may be that i see that a little cold, im latin so, in my culture we are a lot more touching, which make kino lot easier for me, anywy this is a great post, loved the video, is always great to see a video of a set live.
Glad you appreciated my comment. Just to try and jog your memory- I did the approach course in early September with you, We were wearing pretty much the same outfit haha (black shirts and smart trousers)! Thanks to your persistence you pushed me (and an Irish guy on the course) into a 2-set and helped us both number close.
In fact that was the first time I had got a number within moments of meeting a girl, and it really gave my a glimpse of what is possible going out and using game. So I guess I owe you a lot for that.
LOL is really funny when you find someone that know the girls in your videos, I posted a video on youtube one time about magic and pick up, and in the begining of it i put some pics of targets that i met thru magic, and i got some players telling me “men, that was my ex girlfriend! or…Dude i know that other one!” and stuff like that, i think that´s really funny, this is such a small world, LOL, take care everyone!
The thing I love so much about this approach is that the opener can be applied in almost any day game situation. Transitioning is by far the most difficult part, since you can easily stay on the boring topic of the opener until the conversation goes dry. But Dharam shows no matter how difficult the target makes it transition there’s always a way round. And the weird thing is, although the target didn’t want to engage in conversation initially, by the end of the interaction she was loving it, and was probably really greatful for Dharam’s persistence.
Sorry guys, I’m making another post. I just think this video is fabulous and its really consolidating my belief that I can master the cold approach, with time.
Until seeing this I didn’t like this opener. Because I used to accept the first answer she gave me, then it was v.difficult to transition, if she wasn’t really invested in the conversation. I now realise the importance of not necessarily accepting the first answer she gives you, but when you’re disagreeing you are keeping it interesting.
I also think when she asked if he knew his way to oxford circus, and Dharam replied why are you going there, was very clever. Although he new the odds were she wasn’t, it got her talking about what she was doing in London, giving him a hook point. Had Dharam have directly asked what she was doing in London, this would have telegraphed much more interest, making her feel more uncomfortable and less likely to respond in a positive way.
So this got her talking about what she was doing in London, which led to she is studying politics next year. As soon as she mentioned this you could see her face beeming and bodyrocking with excitement. This really does show how important it is to talk about the girls passions to elicit emotions, and make the conversation fun for her.
From this point it was obviously going to be plain sailing to get the close, by just keeping the conversation focussed on her interests and building comfort.
Okay, last comment. I’m sure as guys we all appreciate the difficulty of this close, since she was so frosty to begin with. But the funny thing is the girl is oblivious to this. I guess she feels as though the conversation is completely natural, which highlights the importance of respecting her comfort levels. While ever she feels as though the interaction is natural, she’ll probably be comfortable.
Great to hear from you all – and nice to see the comments are still rolling in on the website for this post as I feel the content could really help you guys looking to improve your game.
POKER: Kino is something I too have become accustomed to doing naturally, although in this set more kino would not be a good thing!!! Let me explain, the girl is keeping her distance, when I did kino her she wasn’t reciprocating by coming any closer, so in order to continue with a good level of comfort it is important to understand she isn’t ready for more kino yet, maybe it is difficult to see this in the video, although in set I noticed it.
RICHARD: Mate how you been? Great to hear from you and I hope you’ve kept up the gaming – Can’t let the team down!
ARGUELLO: Watch the vid again but I do not think it is either :-S
POKER: why have you decided to give yourself the alias ‘Poker’ – feed my curiosity.
ALI: How did the boxing match go mate? Well when ever your back in the country and want that one on one, let me know, can’t wait to game together, and on my 1on1s, you know I am your personal wingman ;-)
PHILIP: She said at the end ‘she’d text me’ and she did J
PHILIP: Excellent analysis, well done on all that you picked up.
PHILIP: Mate seeing as you’ve invested three comments on my blog, and I really do appreciate them, I’m going to give you a deal on a 1on1 just for you Philip, if you are or ever become interested, you can book four hours with me for the price of three.
As always guys, thanks for the comments.
Stay kool and keep gaming.

Again, got to agree with Onder: this is almost exactly how I game. I love pretending that I don’t know where I’m going (partly because a lot of the time, I’m not pretending).
I try to think of interactions as a set of targets that should be met. Obviously they all have to have a beginning a middle and an end, all of twhich will be different depending on the scenario. Some of these targets don’t have to be met in certain interactions, and are replaced with others.
When I’m gaming, the only things in my head are a rough idea of where I need to take things. Other than that, I like to just let things flow and see what I can come out with. Every now and then I will say something, and it will get a great reaction, so I will make a note to use it more often in similar situations.
Loved the way you dealt with the subject of politics and the phone interupt though, very cool.
