A powerful PUA the absolute spitting image of Data from Star Trek is discussing politics with the toilet attendant of a classy night club; when suddenly a mysterious hot babe seductively lures him out from the mens room. He’s matured as a PUA and has no ego, he tells the hot babe that she should ‘walk away’ as she does not know who he is and what he is capable of. Lots of women are clearly sneering and the PUA, it’s quite obvious that he has seduced a great many women in the venue on previous occasions and left them heartbroken. She beckons him to follow her as she wishes to introduce him to someone important. She escorts him out of the venue and takes him down a quiet street nearby, he always knew a Stargate-like portal was situated on Shelton Street but he never quite took it seriously. The neon blue floor lights of what he previously thought was just a faux portal have been switched on. A mysterious figure is standing in the middle of what must be the center of the portal gateway. It’s Ross from friends. It’s at this point that everything begins to make sense, Ross has the same job as Al the hologram in Quantum Leap, and the PUA is to be sent back in time to seduce various different women at pivotal points in history to make the world we currently know a better place. The PUA quickly falls in love with the escort lady who brought him out of the club. Ross informs him that he will always hope that the next leap will be the leap home. He kisses the escort goodbye and promises to come back for her. He enters into the portal and loads of flashing lights appear and some smoke as well.
The PUA arrives in the body of a politician and he must seduce Ann Widdicomb…
Strategies people!!! What should the PUA do in this dire situation? Remember that he must climax in order to leap, it’s not like how the old Quantum Leap used to be. Will seducing women he isn’t attracted to damage his psychology? What are the pros and cons of his new job? Should he use NLP on himself to make him attracted to them? Or should he seduce them in his natural state of mind and bare it? Did he make the right decision in accepting the job from Ross?

LoL, I can’t really make much sense of this post. However, I have the maximum respect for Alistair and am therefore going to attempt a response.
1. I don’t think in this situation that he should use NLP or any other form of influence on himself; he should be open to the prospect of a ’new adventure’ and the chance to help someone else. Sexual attraction is a difficult thing to manipulate — we are all very stuck in our ways. However, sometimes it’s the new experiences that turn out to be the most moving. When I was in high school there was a girl who people didn’t like — she seemed a little geeky and quiet. However, I decided to take her to prom — she lit the damn place up! It was like something out of Disney. The experience was profound. I’m not sure if sleeping with Anne Widdicomb is comparable; however, the PUA may find something that he didn’t expect — LoL, though I do hate to think what.
2. When we accept a new challenge we do so for many reasons: pride, desire, fear, etc etc. However, once we know there is no going back we can often face these challenges a lot more easily. I think that in this scenario the PUA should adapt. He should adapt to this situation; it’s time to face things and move on.
When we face the unexpected we find out who we really are. It’s the nature of the job!
Probably not what you where looking for, but it’s what I was thinking,

I think JonDoe is pretty much on the money here.
Never judge a book by its cover. Also I would like to point out is how fast the PUA falls in love with the escort, 4 minutes flat? Who knows, she might even be an axe murderer. They called it “oneits” in The Game if I remember correctly.
After reading this text one more time I its not about this girl or woman Anne. Its about the PUA and growing up. You can pick up any woman and use her for your own personal amusement but it will come back to bite you. You should always leave the girl better than you found her. Paying it forward

This had me stumped for the last 24 hours, but I’m now looking at it as a matter of ‘framing’ or rather ‘reframing’. Instead of focusing on the ‘now’ aspect of having to do the nasty with Ann (the word ‘nasty’ was rather misplaced there I admit) and worrying about the psychological impact it will have on him, the situation should be mentally reframed to focus on all the positive reasons to carry out the mission, after all, the point of the mission is to ‘make the world a better place’, it’s a personal sacrifice to bring about a positive change. Not only that, but it is a personal journey of evolution (very similar to the above post suggesting growing up), which can be likened to a great many stories where by trails and obstacles need to be overcome in order to ascend to a higher state of being (Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean, Conan the Barbarian, Luke Skywalker, Buddha, Jesus, and the list goes on). In a sense I am referencing this situation to the ‘cave of chaos’ from Hypnotica’s ‘The Sphinx of the Imagination’, anyone familiar with the sphinx will know what I’m talking about.
By doing this and whatever trials are to come, he will gain personal power and growth. He will also be brought closer to home, but the ‘home’ isn’t the home he left, it’s a better home as the girl he loves is there, it’s a higher state of being than what he left behind, he had a glimpse of this just before starting this journey and now must earn the right to exist in that better place. It’s the concept of inner alchemy, taking the raw materials that make up who you are and producing spiritual gold.
Ultimately as an aspiring PUA, and in the other areas of my life, this is what I also hope to accomplish; ascension.
I also have three other less serious side notes I’d like to make on this, just for shits n’ giggles:
1. I don’t know if anyone remembers how the real Quantum leap ended, but ‘Dr. Samuel Beckett never returned home’
2. The PUA can take solace in the fact that only he has to climax to ‘leap’
3. Who hasn’t slept with a woman they weren’t attracted to? (When they woke up with a banging headache at least)

hahahaaha LOL, You and your Ross´s stuff, you know? I often put images in my head to put me on mood, you know NLP exercises, I think Ross from friends is gonna start being a regular character into those, LOL, and it seems that is already a regular character in your posts, well, getting into the fantasy, i don´t really know who Ann Widdicomb is, but im guessing she is a pretty nasty and ugly girl ore something like that, so, that is maybe not that cool, however, just imagine all the girls that the guy could play in all history, all kind of girls, and celebrity, icon HB´s like Marilyn Monroe and stuff, i think that is a thinker to take or not the job from Ross, however i think i would do it, mostly because it feels good to do something good for one people, if i have to use my habilities as a PUA to help the world and make a better place of it, like you said on the post, i think i would do it, plus, is like vacations, just not in another country, but in another time, LOL, keep with that imagination man, this posts are just hilarious and got me thinking!

Poker- You dont know who Anne Widdecombe is? She’s the MP for where my parents live. I’ve seen her in person…and trust me the idea of having to seduce her isn’t something I want to spend too much time thinking about! (bless her).

In Quantum Leap Sam leaps into the body of the new host (if you remember everytime he caught a reflection of himself), hence experiencing all sorts of physical hamperings that go with it, so perhaps if our QLPUA (Quantum Leaping Yada Yada . . .) was in say Frank Dobson’s body, then his mental state would be affected by his physicality . . . and Anne, who is rather unsurprisingly rumored to be a virgin, may not seem like such a bad idea, but honestly why am I lying here in bed at 2am and painting a picture of a PUA Frank Dobson & Anne Widdicombe is quite simply beyond me! I can actually see the makings of something rather special with Ross ghost like appearance by Dobson, whilst seeming to enjoy what you and I would involuntarily recoil from; doggy styling Widdicombe, and Ross’s ghost saying “Oh [PUA's name], you can stop now . . no that’s enough, . . that will do . . . oh please stop! Oh I’m gonna be sick . . . UUURGHHHH!”

I think the PUA should suck it up and do what is needed, else why take on the mission in the first place? In the same way, we must be willing to push through our own obstacles, despite the lack of any apparent benefit at the time.
In my own experience of practicing attracting women I’m less-that-totally attracted to, I’ve come away with no noticeable psychological damage. It has just made me a better PUA, made me appreciate the opportunities I have with the truely desirable women, and made me confident that I have the ability to successfully game them. For these reasons, I don’t think self NLP is totally necessary to succeed, but would obviously help. However, it is my belief that it shouldn’t be used to make you feel more comfortable in these situations. The whole point is to throw yourself outside your comfort zone as within that unknown area of pain lies the potential for growth. If we’re considering the choice between comfort and growth (or, on a more specific level, remaining a chode, or doing whatever it takes to become a PUA), then the choice should be obvious. If it’s not, maybe you’re playing the wrong game.
