Much has been said in credence to the world of aristocracy. To the untrained eye, the subtleties of such an art are misunderstood by the passive observer. In the dark ages you had the mamoth, and that wasn’t something to laugh about or give social strucure. In the PUA world you have the terms ‘AFC’ meaning average frustrated chump, then you have ‘PUA’ which means pickup arist, and also you have MPUA which means master pickup artist.

I propose a new term. I have developed far beyond pickup artist, I started out as an AFC, and progressed my way up through the ranks and eventually I was even starting to be called a SPUA (super pickup artist). I don’t like this term because I think it is a bit much and I still have the odd shortcummings still. However It must  be noted that I have evolved past the simple pickup artist level, many people even think I might be a ’social genius’ and I didn’t believe it was possible at first but I’m starting to see it evidenced in our society.

If someone is awesome socially, not just with women, but the WHOLE social game in its entirety, I want that person to be called an ‘SG’ because that person my friend – deserves it.

A Pickup Artist, most commonly, abbreviated to PUA is a term used to describe a certain kind of man. A man who is skilled in: meeting, attracting and seducing women. The term Pickup Artist started in the 1970’s with How to Pick Up Girls by Eric Webber. The primary goal of any Pickup Artist is...

Listen up all you ‘pickup artists’, we are now gonna play a fun little game we can call ’sarcastic romantic terminology’. The aim of the game is to come up with the most anti-romantic pickup terms and use your creativity to come up with a romantic alternative. Remember that the alternative romantic term still refers...

What will we learn about Mystery from Sesaon 2 of VH1s The Pick Up Artist? When Neil Strauss first met Mystery he described him as ‘a computer geek who had been bitten by a vampire and was half way through his transformation.’ Mystery certainly cuts an imposing figure, always peacocking and wearing something that is likely...

You introduce this new ‘term’ in quit a bragging way.
It’s not the term that is the problem, it descripes excactly the level at which I want to be. But they way it is introduced. If someone else would post this about you there wouldn’t be any problem.
Even so I like the term. Being a PUA is just one part of the social events in your life. If you can be a SG you master all the social aspects in your life.
I like the PUA stuff beceause it introduced me to a scientific way of socialising. But I’m starting to read stuff that goes beyond just picking up women and it is so fascinating!

Social Genius sounds too absurd, self-obsessed and un-classy for my taste (esp. when it is self-titled). How about Social Artist though?

sometimes i wonder if genius really exists or is some social status label. for example some people are geniuses at being good at not making much money or geniuses at being chumps or geniuses at not being poor or geniuses at F1 racing… etc.

    oh the mysteries of life!

Social Genius sounds fine! I have always been very modest but i recently concluded that bragging & arrogance are excellent traits in moderation! Both show confidence, boost your state & affirm yourself. Naturals live everyday with this deliberate positive affirmation of who they are, what they value & want in their life. SPEAK UP, ACT UP & PLAY TO WIN!

I want to comment on the fact that the only criticism on this article is the use of the word genius. Genius is a word that can’t be comprehended, but people just use it because it does somehow indicate what they mean.

Now I know why people can’t comprehend me.

Allistair can you teach me to be a try-hard AFC? Please, PLEASE!!!

  10. Allistair says:

Sure Robert! Just put deposit for 1 on 1 with me and we can sort something out.
