The Skills of the Coward
This is an elaboration on my last post: ’Puff Cake Victory’.
You can understand a bit better what a puff cake victory is if you think of the chasing after it as being a form of ‘passive competitiveness’. Instead of heading into direct and fierce competition, the passive competitor will choose to compete in a passive way, over things that people aren’t actually competing over. The passive competitor is the epitome of coward, and he goes in the same basket as the passive aggressor.
Both passive aggression and passive competitiveness are the traits of a coward. No one likes either of these 2 traits socially, and as I become more and more aware of these ugly traits I become more able not to exhibit them myself, and also I notice who does and who doesn’t exhibit them, making me better able to discern the crowd.
