tbh id really hope it was not staged and think it could well be real, only thing is ive heard some real BS from some the pua lot, though i think they are on the whole genuine, as are the skills they teach.

however i have seen some pics of girls ‘gambler’ supposedly pulled who have since turned up in other videos or pua promotional material and obviously were not random chicks he took to bed.

furthermore, the author of this article says it is rare and only the 4th time hes done it, making it more believable, however adam lyons then claims to have seen him ‘pull this off consistently’ which could of happened after the date this article was published, but seems rather unlikely in any event.

in conclusion, the pua skils are real and they provide good useful information on the blog and im sure elsewhere, however the spammy emails with fake deadlines and general hyped up sales letter approach detracts from the legitemacy of the industry, as do some of the exaggerated claims many of the trainers have made (though gambler himself i think is mostly genuine).

There are alot of guys who helped me out at the beginning of my Journey. Yad was the main guy who kinda took me under his wing in the beginning, and since then it just came down to practice practice practice – with help from many different friends and trainers on the way who each had little nuggets of advice that was right for me at the time.

Regarding your approach anxiety though, it doesn’t matter what trainer you have at the start for this. Whether you’re being trained by the best guy in the world or a mate of yours who’s just a little bit better, only YOU can get past your approach anxiety. It’s your fear, and no trainer can get you past it. Only you can.

I say get PAST your approach anxiety, because it isn’t about getting rid of it, but acting inspite of it. Your approach anxiety is just another name for the fear of doing something a bit scary. The only way to reduce the fear of doing something unknown to you is to do it alot – to act inspite of the fear.

If you are always looking to vanquish the fear by doing anything other than actually approaching, then you are looking in the wrong place.

“maybe if I get a better trainer, he can get rid of my fear” – Afraid not. To be honest your mate is probably better for getting over approach anxiety as he can actually KICK YOU if you don’t approach, where as I can’t ;-) The threat of physical violence can be a powerful motivator!
