and also

i bet there will be demonstrations where people will be ‘hypnotised’ out of their ‘phobias’

when it fact what will happen is:
1. there will be an attributing of hypnosis to some subjective response.
2. out of compliance the subject will say that he agrees that that hypnotic suggestion ‘worked’
3. the puas in the audience will be liek durrrr no wayz! lolz!

then with phobias

4. the operator will choose someone who naturally looks normal well adjusted communicative expressive and with a stupid look on his face indicating he is a typical pua.
5. the operator will suggest the subject that he has a phobia which he doesnt actually have or labels some minor nonsensical fear as a ‘phobia’ which he precedes to ‘remove’ through artful use of language which no one actually underfstands (not even the operator)
6. the subject is cured and goes back beaming in delight.
7. everyone has little smiles and smirks.

Let me guess whats going to happen.

first it will be like YEH WE ARE GOING TO GO INTO ALTERED STATES LOLZ

then there will be endless rambling about shit. and about people who dont have real problems getting there not-problems problems solved as use for inspiration.

then we will be led into believe we will go into some magical state.

then as a finale there will be some really smart use of language and some sentence thats supposed to change everyone.

then we are left to do the exact same thing as before and nothing actually happens!
