If You've Just Watched The Rules of Seduction, Welcome to the Home of The Worlds Greatest Pick Up Artist!
The Rules of Seduction, part of the First Cut season of Documentaries, is a new TV show aired on Channel 4 on December 7th with repeats of the C4 feature being shown on More 4.
The show "The Rules of Seduction" was based on the travails of the UK's foremost Master Pick Up Artist- Richard La Ruina aka Gambler, Beckster and their seduction company London-based PUATraining.
The seduction community has grown exponentially over the last few years having been born in the United States from the online musings of aspiring Casanovas with monikers to hide their identities.
The show featured some of the more prominent members of London's seduction community which itself has, until now, lacked the same kind of grandeur as its sister formation over the Atlantic. With the opening of PUATraining, Gambler has sought and succeeded in bringing to British men the "how tos" of seducing the most beautiful and desirable women imaginable.
The company run what are known as Bootcamp Events where men are placed under the tutelage of PUATraining's Master Trainers- the likes of which include a pick up artist known as Beckster – a 10 year gaming veteran and Kezia, the world’s only female trainer. Over the course of a weekend in the heart of London's clubbing district where they are taught to complete drills such as approaching large groups of women and kissing complete strangers within a mere few minutes, that would, for the Average Joe, prove too daunting a task without having undergone a boot camp.

The show charted the rise of Ian- a computer geek from London who, over the course of the show, was transformed into a latter day Don Juan in the shape of a modern day PUA.
After cameras stopped rolling Ian was caught in the throes of two girls battling to get his number at the culmination, when at the start he self admittedly was too shy to hold a woman’s gaze.
Also featured on the show are AFC Adam and I Am The Future, members of London’s seduction community who chip in with tidbits on the topic.
David Wygant features from Hollywood during a report into how things are done States-side. His brand of seductive techniques centre on tricks like displaying outlandish fashion statements- known as ‘peacocking’- that are designed to grab the attention of all those in the vicinity and has roots in evolutionary biology.
One aspect that becomes particularly obvious is the distinction between favoured techniques here and in the United States with the Americans favouring overt and ostentatious gimmicks and outright lies as opposed to the laid back natural approach favoured by Gambler and co.
"We've found time and time again that the American techniques and style just don't work over here. On the other hand, English guys can clean up in America, and it doesn't require much more than an English accent!" Therefore, if you can do it in London, you can do it anywhere!

My Name is Richard La Ruina AKA Gambler. Today, i'm living a great lifestyle, dating the most beautiful women in the world, from models, to actresses, to strippers to celebrities, i've had them all.
