Who is xHamster For?

I feel that the site’s old-seeming nature leaves it likely to attract a more mature audience, however, compared to something like PornHub that markets to a younger viewership.

While xHamster is free to view, a subscription-based membership offers extra features on top of the regular content. It is up to you whether you prefer to pay for the additional perks.
Is a Paid Subscription Worth It?
While a page on the site lists the benefits of buying a subscription, I feel that it’s lackluster. The vagueness of the perks, such as “find your fetish among 80,000 videos,” leaves the viewer guessing instead of knowing precisely what they’ll receive. The website already offers thousands of fetish videos, so they would benefit from expanding on this section and letting viewers know what else they’re getting from a subscription.
Why Are There So Many Ads?
When using the website without being signed into an account, there are multiple pop-up ads. This is most likely to bring revenue in for the site even if the viewers do not pay for a membership. However, creating and signing into an account will fix this issue. Creating and logging into your account is entirely free.
Where Are My Subscriptions?
Subscriptions are somewhat hidden, only found in the top left column or after clicking on the ellipses next to the “Premium” section across the top banner. I believe xHamster could benefit from moving this to its own section across the main banner as it is an essential factor for many viewers.
Is It Possible to Download the Videos?
Yes, it is possible to download any video on xHamster. Underneath all videos, there is an option for download, favorite, and share. You do not need to buy a subscription to download videos.
At the very bottom of the web page, a section labeled “Help” consists of links to an FAQ, a Contact Us page, and an Improve xHamster page. Under the FAQ section, you may find answers to any questions you have, and under the Improve xHamster page, you can offer suggestions to improve the website. Here is where you can provide any suggestions or improvements you may have.
Final Thoughts
Xhamster, in general, seems to be a well-rounded and pleasantly diverse porn experience. The offer of multiple mediums for pornography and a function to chat with other viewers or actors is extremely impressive.
The bonus dating site feature is a brilliant and compelling way for the site to attract more users. Not only can you find porn you’re interested in, but you can meet and chat with others who are in a similar position as you.
While I initially found the site’s drab colors to be quite bland, I believe the simplistic and easy to traverse web page can be important when creating a site that caters to all ages (18+ of course).
Too old-school?
With that in mind, I think they could benefit from updating the general look of the site slightly as I get very early-internet vibes from its layout. They could also add more details about the paid subscription perks to let users know what benefits they’re receiving over the free membership.
In the end, through spending my time on the porn site without hamsters for my xHamster review, I genuinely think I will find myself using the site again. I would highly recommend the site as a superb free porn option.
I do not believe it’s worth it to buy the subscription unless they offer more perks or specify more about their current ones. If you are looking for an easy to use, free, wonderfully diverse porn site, I believe that xHamster is for you.
